Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Samburu National Reserve Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the northern rugged semi desert region arriving in time for lunch at lodge. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 2: Samburu Morning and afternoon game drive inside the park. Search for the stars of Samburu rarely found elsewhere, including Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, and Somali Ostrich. In between meals, optional visit to Samburu villages. All meals and overnight at the campsite.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park Breakfast at Samburu and depart for Lake Nakuru, which is an armchair in the Rift Valley Lakes, stopping at Thomson Falls arriving Nakuru for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 4: Maasai Mara Game Reserve Morning game viewing in the park moving to the baboon rocks for a spectacular view, see thousands of birds feeding in the alkaline water, look for waterbucks and warthogs as you. Leave the park. Breakfast at the campsite and depart for Mara, crossing Loita Plains arriving Mara. Game viewing en route to the the campsite. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Days 5-6: Maasai Mara Game Reserve Morning and afternoon game drive extending to the hippo point, in between meals optional visit to the Maasai villages. All meals and overnight at the campsite.
Day 7: Amboseli National Park Depart Mara after breakfast and proceed to Nairobi for lunch. After lunch, drive to Amboseli at the foothills of snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak. Game drive en route to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 8: Amboseli Morning game drive followed by breakfast at the campsite. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 9: Tsavo West National Park Morning game drive in Amboseli. Breakfast and depart via Shaitani Lava flows to Tsavo West arriving for lunch at the campsite. Afternoon game drive extending to Mzima springs. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 10: Nairobi Morning game drive searching for man-eaters of Tsavo among the “Big Five”. Breakfast at the campsite and depart for Nairobi arriving in late afternoon.

Budget camping is a popular means of spending holidays in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania and incursions into the wildlife reserves and remote frontiers are possible at reasonable rates. Victoria Safaris offers budget tours to these areas and trips are undertaken using safari minibuses with pop up roofs. In cases of extremely rough terrain overland trucks that are customized for these safaris are available although the costs are higher than those for the normal itineraries.
Various adventure camping itineraries are available from Victoria Safaris' offices and these offer the traveler low budget tours to the East Africa countries of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. Though these trips are arranged by destination there is the possibility of combining safaris to enable you to seamlessly visit the three countries.
Cancellation Policy
The following cancellation charges will be applicable. Should you need to cancel you must notify Victoria Safaris immediately in writing (or by email) for this eventuality or else your deposit will be non-refundable. Notification period Charges
