Reservation Policy
SCHEDULED TRIPS
Require a completed booking form and a deposit of US $500.00 per person. Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
CUSTOMIZED TRIPS
Require a deposit of 25% of the total cost of the trip or a minumun of US $1000 per peron, depending on the price of the trip. Final paymnet is due 60 days prior to departure.
Bookings made within 60 days prior of departure require full payment at the time of reservations.
Payment on international and domestic air reservations are dictated by individual airlines chosen.
CHANGES ON CONFIRMED BOOKINGS
If you decide to make changes on already confirmed travel arrangements, a fee of $100 per person will be charged. For changes made within 59 days prior to travel departure, cancellation fees may apply as it will be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing to To Africa Tours & Safaris, Inc. Land prices are subject to the following cancellation charges based on number of days before the departure date
Cancellations received by To Africa Tours and Safaris 90 days or more prior to departure are subject to a $250 per person cancellation penalty; cancellations received 89-60 days prior to departure are subject to a penalty of 20% of the total retail tour rate; 59-30 days is 50% of the tour rate. Cancellations received 29 days or less are subject to forfeiture of 100% of the entire retail tour rate. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
Cancellation penalties on airfare are additional and will depend on the type/class of airfare and individual airlines terms and conditions applicable. Some of the tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable.
There is no refund for any unused portions of the tour program once tour has commenced.
