This five-night safari adventure is a special that is running over the months of May, June, July and August. Spend five nights at the incredible Umlani Bush Camp, in the heart of the greater Kruger. Experience the thrill of game drives in open Land Rovers, guided bush walks, and tracking game on foot with highly experienced rangers and trackers. You are guaranteed an adventure of a lifetime in one of Africa's world-renowned unspoilt wilderness reserves. This all-inclusive special includes your daily two game drives and three meals a day, as well as your beverages (local drinks).

This authentic camp is the ultimate experience of true wilderness and seclusion, accommodating only 16 guests in traditional African thatch Chalets. Umlani's philosophy of simplistic luxury and 'getting back to nature' is enhanced by the romance of operating without electricity. Enjoy the warm atmosphere of candlelight and oil lamps as well as open-air bush showers fueled by wood fires. The accommodation offers you all the privacy and superior comfort you need for uninterrupted relaxation. Each Chalet has en-suite facilities and is comfortably fitted with white mosquito nets, crisp white linens and towels, as well as with standard bathroom amenities, bottled water (although the tap water is perfectly safe to drink), and insect repellent.
Activities
You will be taken out on two game drives per day, in open-top Land Rovers. The morning game drive will leave at dawn and the night drive will leave in the late afternoon. There is always a ranger on stand-by for an optional morning bush walk. During the day you can go on short walks with the ranger after breakfast, or lounge in the double hammocks around the swimming pool sipping your favorite drink. Alternatively, laze away the day in the lodge's spacious bush bar and deck overlooking the riverbed and watering hole. For exclusive tranquility there is a tree house about 2.5kms from the camp overlooking a dam, where you can be left for an hour or two with blankets and big comfortable pillows, as well as a cooler box with drinks.
Dining
Umlani's award winning cuisine will take you on a gastronomic tour of African-style food. In the evening you will be treated to pre dinner drinks in the traditional boma around the fire, followed by one of Umlani's award winning meals in the candlelit dining room, or out in the open riverbed surrounded by flares and cauldron fires.

Umlani Bushcamp offers an authentic wildlife experience in Big Five territory. View lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino, in over 10,000 hectares (24,000 acres) of traversing area; this is also home to over 40 mammal species and 350 bird species.
Other Attractions
Apart from the wildlife safaris there are some optional daytime activities outside of the Timbavati Game Reserve that are accessible from Umlani Bushcamp; which can be arranged by camp management. Trip Itinerary
Days 1-5: Safari Once you have checked in at around lunchtime on Day One, you will have five days of safari at your leisure.
Each day will start off with an early morning wake-up call, followed by your early morning game drive. After returning to camp for some breakfast, you will have the rest of the morning at your own leisure to swim, read, bird watch or just relax before eventually going to have some lunch.
After lunch you can once again relax at your own leisure before getting ready for the late afternoon/evening game drive. After returning from your game drive, you will have some time to freshen up before having dinner around the traditional African Boma.

Reservation Policy
Ocean & Vine Tours requires a 50% deposit to secure your booking, and requires the balance to be paid up to 60 days prior to leaving.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy for tour bookings is as follows. Percentage of your deposit refundable to you:
60+ days: 75% of deposit refunded.
30+ days: 50% of deposit refunded.
14+ days: 25% of deposit refunded.
14 days: no refund.
