Kerry Glen
Kerry was born in Kenya and grew up accompanying her parents and brother on safaris all over East Africa. Kerry's father is the sculptor Robert Glen and many of the family expeditions revolved around Rob's studies of the biology and design of the animals they encountered. At the Univeristy of Cape Town, Kerry continued to pursue her interests in the natural world studying Environmental and Geographical Sciences. Back in Kenya, Kerry designed, built and managed the renowned lodge, Sabuk. Also in Laikipia, she guided walking safaris with Ewaso River Camel Hikes for eight years, leading clients through some of the most stunning and rugged country in Kenya.

While Leponoto is rather hard of hearing he doesn’t miss a beat. When visitors want a hot shower, Leponoto is there. When camp needs to go up fast its Leponoto who is in charge. Alongside Leponoto works Losorogol, Lemonaa and Lokomoiro.
| Losorogol
Losorogol’s nickname is BFG, the big friendly giant because he towers over all his family and neighbors near Kisima Town in the Karisia Hills. When Losorogol was a warrior he was known to eat an entire goat in one sitting. Losorogol works in the set up and maintence of the camp as well as a tracker on our hikes. Typically when we walk we will bring two trackers who help to carry water, some food, cameras etc. More importantly though they help us to decipher tracks, spot game or to identify trees and plants that they use for various medicines.
