African Insights is the exclusive North American representative for multiple in-bound tour operators located throughout Africa. They can arrange virtually anything in Southern or Eastern Africa including South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia or Zambia, including safaris, cultural tours, scuba diving, wine tours, fishing, hiking and rafting.

Experience the culture, explore the history, or view some of the most spectacular animals, flora and fauna above and below the surface of Africa. Southern and Eastern Africa is known for its “Big Five” – Elephants, Buffalo, Rhinos, Leopards and Lions make up the Big 5 on land – the great white, ragged-tooth shark, whale shark, humpback whale and manta rays are members of the “Big 5” below the surface.

African Insights specializes in custom-designed packages and will work with you to arrange the expedition of your dreams. Whether the package is just for two or groups of any size, African Insights arranges your holiday with dignity and professionalism. Tours can be fully guided or self-conducted. If you prefer to choose from a pre-packaged tour, they also have a variety of packages to choose from.

Accommodations are provided in a variety of establishments including private game lodges, national parks, rest camps, hotels or guesthouses from the ultimate in luxury to friendly family venues. Accommodations in an authentic Zulu village can even be arranged.

   Reservation Policy


  • Less than 60 days prior to departure - Payment is due in full at time of confirmation.
  • More than 60 days prior to departure - Deposit: 20% of total amount, including any additional activities and surcharges. Balance of payment is required 60 days prior to commencement of the safari.

   Cancellation Policy


Cancellations of confirmed bookings must be made in writing and will be effective from the date the cancellation is received. The following cancellation charges based on the total value of the safari Will apply:
  • More than 30 days prior to departure - less 20%.
  • Less than 30 days prior to departure - 100% forfeit. In this case the client’s only recourse is via the Cancellation and Curtailment cover of their Travel Insurance policy.

Should a client fail to join a tour, join after the departure date or leave the tour before completion no refund will be made and any additional expenses occurred will be for the client's own expense.
